Being the lead designer on this campaign, I managed retouching direction, media placement, typography treatment, and all production files. My consistency and attention to detail was of great importance for this project and was rewarded with the immediant success and global recognition it recieved.
When a man gets angry, he’s “outspoken”. When a woman gets angry, she's “unhinged”, “hysterical” or “just being crazy.”
Led by Serena Williams, who herself was labeled “unhinged” following the 2018 US Open, this campaign shines a light on the double standards women face and champions the female athletes that have defied them. The film became the most-liked post on Nike’s Instagram.
